Our Doctors
All of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and are members of the American Academy of Family Physicians. They each take an average of 50 hours of continuing medical education per year.Family Medicine
The American Academy of Family Physicians defines "Family Medicine":
Family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. It is a specialty in breadth that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral sciences. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity. In other words, our doctors specialize in treating every member of a family, from babies to senior citizens. We handle sick visits, adult check-ups, well baby and child exams, immunizations, and office gynecology, including pap smears and contraceptive services. When necessary we refer to specialists in other fields. |
